No real music but nice backyard patio for the summer time. The bartenders know some mixology. Food was affordable but so-so. Went here - it was excellent. Atmosphere is nothing interesting but the food was solid and the Bubble Tea was a wonderful flashback to my trip to Asia. Would definitely do it again! |

Why, based on the single one star review? This restaurant claims to have Puerto Rican food, but is an utter disgrace to the rich history and culture of Puerto Rico. The server failed to tell us the specials. The food took at least 45 minutes to get to our table and we were only one of two table there! The food was mediocre at best and the prices ranged from modest to outrageously expensive. Overall, this restaurant is not a place you should even think of eating at. Stay away. Stay far away. |

http://onmilwaukee.com/dining/articles/zaafaran.html <-- its finally open! Edit: went there a couple times. they've got some good appetizers. I'm not amazed by the food but its something different and the quality is good. I would go back.
