A grand jury in Milwaukee has indicted a man in connection with a January 2010 fire that destroyed the building that housed the well-known Pizza Man restaurant on the city's east side.

The man indicted, Feras Rahman, was the owner of the Black and White Café, a counter-service restaurant, which opened next door to Pizza Man in January 2009.

Rahman's family owns Casablanca on E. Brady St., where he worked there for many years.

Rahman was indicted on counts of arson, mail fraud and lying, according to the indictment.

Sucks that the corner will be a vacant lot for years to come and prob only turn into another cookie cutter residential block.

If he's segmented from it - it will not, but if he is an integral part its going down. But it may regardless affect it since the name is linked if he is convicted due to loyalty.

Farz, personally I think this is going to turn into a sh*t show.  

I don't believe in coincidences when it comes to tragedy, and with all the stuff out in the open about the property owner getting the place appraised (and finding out it was 3x's more valuable without a building there).....to the financial difficulties and trying to figure out ways to get out of their long term lease for Black n White.....hell, even the mighty Pizza Man (that the city of mke and media act like was the only part of the building) has some questionable practices that were going on at the time.

at the end of the day, someone other than just Feras knew about this, helped plan and execute it, and now its the waiting game to see if its someone involved in that property (land owner, pizza man, cush, grecian delight, others from black n white), or family/friends (la dolce vita and casablanca).  shrugs.
